I signed into my tv with an account that I share with. I even have official playlists that will not show artwork. I've deleted my libraries and recreated them, emptied trash, updated media, refreshed. I can see artwork when I am on the windows 7 server itself. I've tried signing out of the tv, plex media server, my plex and signing back in. My friend shares with me from his plex and I can see his artwork on my vizio. Other people are able to view my plex artwork on their vizio TV. I then switched back to my LAN and the artwork no longer displays (I've removed plex and reinstalled before testing network issue).

Using the external connection I was able to see my artwork. The artwork displays when I'm not on the same LAN as PMS. I disconnected my TV from my LAN and connected it to my phone hotspot.

I'm not able to view my own artwork on my vizio tv when on the same LAN as PMS. I have plex media server and share out my plex to other people. Is there anything else I could try? Plex and Netflix are about all I use my TV for, and we all know that Netflix is pretty limited on content. Tried restarting the TV, resetting to factory settings, reregistering the TV with Vizio, both ethernet and wireless connections, static and automatic IP's (though other apps like Netflix can still connect no problem), and changing the Preferred DNS to 8.8.8.8 (and alternate to 8.8.4.4) as per Vizio's suggestion. I have not changed anything with my home router (Verizon Fios). Some notes: Plex is indeed working on every other device I own. Could it have updated overnight to a version that isn't compatible with the Vizio TV? He did say that periodically the apps on the Vizio TV update, and I'm currently on version 2.5.7 of the Plex app. I went through several different actions with a representative from Vizio, and they said there was nothing more they could do. Today, I got to my Vizio TV to use Plex and the app is no longer working.
